These earrings are inspired by Manzanita flowers. Each flower is handformed to resemble a tiny blossom. Botany meets jewelry.
Green Leaf Manzanita is lovely shrub of the West. In the spring, it blossoms with delicate white and pink flowers. In the fall, it makes lots of berries that are enjoyed by bears and foxes. It keeps its hearty leaves throughout the winter.
The charms are fine silver (99.9% silver). They have been treated with just a touch of patina to accent the detail. Each charm is topped with a tiny, round, dark pink garnet and hangs from a sterling silver lever-back ear wire.
A dainty, feminine earring…measuring just over ½ inch in length.
