The stunning cabochon featured in this simple, elegant pendant is called Sonoran Sunset. It is a lovely composite of three types of stone: Chrysocolla (green), Cuprite (red) and Hematite (silvery-black). All are copper-based minerals. The stone hails from the Sonoran region of Mexico, near the border with Arizona. This cabochon is perfectly cut and shaped by one of my favorite lapidary artists.
The stone cabochon is encircled in a fine silver bezel and sits on a bed of sterling silver. The hand-forged sterling bail gives is just the right amount of drop from the sterling silver chain. This pendant will look great against your summer whites or your favorite black dress.
Dimensions: The pendant measures just over 1 inch wide at the bottom and 1 and 5/8 inches long including the bail. It is available in a 16-inch or 18-inch chain; just specify your preference at ordering.
Your pendant arrives in a lovely gift box with story card listing all components; perfect for gifting to that special someone, including you. Shipping is free.
